Admissions to the first year of the 5-year B.A., LL.B. integrated programme are strictly based on merit, based on the marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination.

To be eligible for admission in the 5-year B.A., LL.B. integrated programme, the candidate should: have successfully completed Pre-University course or Senior Secondary School course ('+2') or equivalent such as (11+1, 'A' level in Senior School Leaving Certificate course) from a recognised University of India or outside or from Senior Secondary Board or equivalent, constituted or recognised by the Union or by the State Government or from any equivalent institution from a foreign country recognised by the government of that country for the purpose of issue of qualifying certificate on successful completion of the course, may apply for and be admitted into the programme. Provided that applicants who have obtained +2 Higher Secondary Pass Certificate or First Degree Certificate

after pursuing studies in distance or correspondence method shall also be considered as eligible for admission to the programme. Seeking admission into a 5-year law course, only the 10th and 12th qualification suffices, with the 10th being the basic qualification for seeking admission into the 5-year law course.

The qualifications for 10th and 12th may be obtained through any mode (distance/correspondence / open schooling method).

And the Pass percentage is 45% for the general category, 42% for the OBC category, and 40% for the SC/ST category.
