The merit list shall be drawn on the basis of best of four subjects (including Mathematics) in XII Board examination or its equivalent examination. Vocational courses (as specified in the CBSE list) will not recognized in the best four subjects.

Admission shall be based on the merit of the CET. The vacant seats after exhausting the merit list of CET will be filled through the merit list of CUET.

The candidate must have scored at least 50% marks in 12th board examination from a recognized board and must also have passed Mathematics as a subject in the 12th Board Examination. Those who are appearing in the examination may also apply, provided that they submit the proof of eligibility by a specific date declared by the University.

The Candidate with an aggregate of 50% marks in the 10+2 level examination from a recognized State and Central Government Board with English as a Compulsory subject at the 10+2 level. The aggregate of 50% marks in the 12th class for eligibility will be taken as the aggregate of the best four subjects (unless otherwise specified) including English and compulsory subject(s)
