Admission as per merit

The selection of Major will be on the basis of merit on the day of admission.

Candidates, who have passed the H.S.S.L.C. Examination of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (A.H.S.E.C.), or any other equivalent 12th standard examination conducted by other bodies, e.g. Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E), Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (C.I.S.C.E), etc.

A student who has passed the H.S. (10+2) in Arts, Science, or Commerce from the AHSEC or an equivalent examination with at least 45% in aggregate may apply. Students appearing in the 10+2 final examination, whose results have not yet been declared, may also apply.
