• He/she shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the MBBS Course. The upper age limit for NEET (UG) is 25 years as on the date of NEET examination with relaxation of 5 years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC-NCL category and PwD Candidates (born on or before 31.12.2004).
• He/she must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually in 12^th Standard and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks (40% for OBC-NCL/SC/SC/PwD Candidates) taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology at the qualifying examination as mentioned in the regulations of NMC / DCI. The candidate should be NEET (UG) - 2021 qualified. In addition, they must have got a rank in the merit list of NEET (UG) - 2021 for admission to Undergraduate Medical Courses.
• The students who have received education abroad and wish to seek admission into medical colleges in India must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English with 50% marks in class 12 and their equivalency determined by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as per regulations of the Medical Council of India and the concerned University.

Academic Qualifications:

• Candidates who have passed the HSC examination (Academic Stream of 10 +2 curriculum) of any State/CBSE/ISC or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, with the group of subjects specified below and obtained the minimum eligible marks prescribed are eligible to apply for admission to the course concerned.

MCI Norms:

• Candidates should have obtained the minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination as per National Medical Commission / Medical Council of India norms.
• Candidates must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology, and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology / Biotechnology in the qualifying examinations.
• In respect of candidates belonging to scheduled caste, scheduled tribes or other backward classes the minimum marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology / Biotechnology taken together in qualifying examination shall be 40%.
• In respect of candidates with benchmark disabilities specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 the minimum marks in the qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology taken together shall be 45%

Age Limit:

• Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the academic year. Date of birth given in the HSC/CBSE/ISC marks sheet or in the Birth Certificate/ Passport shall be taken for the computing age of the candidate.
