Admission to Master's degree programs is affected through Performance in the qualifying examination with a valid score in GATE/CEED, Portfolio of work, Personal Interaction with the program faculty, and/ or written test.

All Candidate with Valid GATE/NET score will be eligible for Fellowship as per GOI norms.

Candidate without GATE/NET score will be eligible to apply for Institute Fellowship/Research assistantship available from time to time

Candidates shall be Bachelors’ degree in Architecture from a recognized University
or equivalent eligible for admission
to the First Year of the various Masters’
Degree programs if they have obtained
at least 55 percent marks or equivalent
credits in aggregate (50 marks or
equivalent credits percent for SC/ ST/ OBC
candidates).

Minimum of 60% (or 6.5 CGPA) for General/OBC/EWS and 55% (or 6 CPPA) in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates, from any institution recognized by SPA B, in any of the qualifying examinations mentioned below: 

i. B.Arch. /B. Plan with 1 year experience / B.E./B. Tech (Civil Engineering) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Building Conservation 

ii. M.A in History/ Cultural studies/ Heritage studies/ Anthropology or equivalent. 

iii. M.A/ M. Sc in Museology/ Archeology or equivalent, 

iv. PG Diploma (two years) in Archeology/Museology/ Conservation/ or equivalent, from national institutes/university. 

v. 5 year integrated Degree in Law with specialization in Heritage Law.
