Lateral Entry

Students with a three-year diploma in a respective specialization can join the second-year BE course. They must apply for the “Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET)” conducted by KEA and follow the seat allotment procedure.

• A pass in the 12th standard or equivalent examination with not less than 45% marks as an aggregate in the optional subjects of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computers/Electronics, with English being one of the languages of study. 
• The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
