Admissions are made as per State government norms. 65% through Single Window Counseling and 35% through the Consortium of Self-financing Engineering Colleges as per the norms of Tamil Nadu Government.
The selection based on TNEA Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions, Anna University, Chennai entrance exam.
Eligibility Criteria
HSC HSC (Academic)- A pass with Minimum 50% average marks in Maths, physics and chemistry put together. Backward Class including Backward Class Muslims 45%,MBC & DNC 40%, SC / SCA / ST 40%.
HSC (Vocational)- A pass with Minimum 50% average marks in the related subjects, Vocational Theory and Practicals 45% for Backward Class including Backward Class Muslims and 40% for MBC & DNC, SC / SCA / ST.
The candidate should have passed the twelfth standard of Tamil Nadu H.S.C. (Academic) or an equivalent examination recognised by Anna University with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The Candidate should have passed the Diploma Examination in Engineering / Technology of the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu or an equivalent examination for direct admission to second year (Lateral Entry).
The number of appearances, minimum marks and other criteria for admissions to B.E / B.Tech courses is as per AICTE and State government norms.
