A candidate for admission to an LL.B. semester course has to qualify at the LL.B. Common Entrance Examination (LAWCET) for that academic year. The candidates will be admittedly strict under the merit secured at the entrance examination, keeping in view the Rules in force in respect of the statutory reservation of seats under various categories of the candidate. 20% of eligible candidates can be admitted through the Institutional level admission process.

• The Candidate who passed the Seeking admission into a 5-year law course. Only the 10th and 12th qualification suffices, with the 10th being the basic qualification for seeking admission into the 5-year law course.
• The qualifications for 10th and 12th may be obtained through any mode (distance/correspondence / open schooling method).
• And the Pass percentage is 45% for the general category, 42% for the OBC category, and 40% forthe  SC/ST category.

A candidate must have passed the qualifying examination of Intermediate level (10+2) or equivalent in a regular course is eligible to join the LL.B – 5 years program.
