Admission Details
Admission to M.Tech. programmes are through the Karnataka PGCET conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
A candidate with valid GATE score or PGCET of Karnataka
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are eligible for M.Tech. programmes if they have a valid GATE score. Candidates who have passed the prescribed qualifying examination or equivalent examination in B.E. and obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for all the subjects for the entire course duration are eligible for admission to full time M.Tech. Programmes. SC, ST and Category-I candidates should obtain a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate for the qualifying examinations.
A candidate who has passed qualifying examination (i.e., BE/B. Tech Degree) in the relevant discipline and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% of marks (for General Merir Candidates) taken together in all the subjects of all the years / semesters of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to ME / M. Tech programs. ( 45% of marks in qualifying examination in case of SC, ST and Cat-I candidates. (Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka Candidate)
