Admission will be allocated as per Centralized Counseling of JOSAA/ CSAB.

Admission to the M.Tech programme is divided into three categories:

Regular Stream: - AICTE Scholarship / Stipend will be provided to the GATE qualified candidates.

Sponsored Category: - The candidates must have two years of work experience and must be sponsored by the organization, where he/she is working presently.

Non-sponsored (self-supporting):- Preference will be given for GATE and PGECET qualified candidates under non-sponsored category; however, they are not eligible for Scholarship.

As per JOSAA/CSAB guidelines:

One of the criteria for admission is that the candidate should satisfy at least one of these two criteria:

• The candidate is within the category-wise top 20 percentile of successful candidates in their respective Class XII (or equivalent) examination of respective stream and Board.
• The candidate has secured a minimum 75% (for GEN or OBC-NCL) or minimum 65 % (for SC, ST or PWD) of aggregate marks in Class XII (or equivalent) examination of respective stream and Board.

The candidate should have passed B.E/B.Tech with the relevant subject from a recognized university.

 Admission to the PGP shall be made either on the basis of - the Rank/Percentile earned by the candidate in the relevant qualifying GATE Examination / the Merit Rank obtained by the qualifying candidate at an Entrance Test conducted by the Telangana State Government (PGECET) for M.Tech. Programmes / an Entrance Test conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad / on the basis of any other order of merit approved by the University, subject to reservations as prescribed by the Government from time to time.
