Admission Details

Admission to a programme of study in the University shall be made on the basis of written objective type Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET) by the Admission Committee of the Department concerned with the approval of the Dean Academic Affairs.

The selection of a candidate shall be based on his/her performance in the Entrance Test.

Eligibility Criteria

A Candidate must have passed or appeared in the final year of Bachelor's Degree in Library and Information Science Examination with 50% of the aggregate marks 45 % in case of SC/ST Candidate.

A candidate who has passed Bachelor degree of 3 years duration (B Sc, B.Com, BA, BCA, BBA, BIT, MCMP or equivalent) under 10+2+3 pattern from any recognized university.
