• Applications are processed in the order of merit, based on the aggregate of marks (rounded to 2 decimal points) secured in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the +2 / Higher Secondary Examination.
• In case the aggregate is same, the order of merit will be decided based on the best scores in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry sequentially, also based on total obtained scores in all subjects and in case of tie, the age i.e. older applicants are given priority.
• After declaration of results applicants can give their campus and program preferences on To be Announced (i.e., applicants can give “n” number of choices)

• The current year admissions to the B.Tech. and the I.M.Tech. programmes are solely based on the NTA Rank in the JEE Main 2024 exam, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) (this criterion is subject to the minimum qualification requirements mentioned previously).  

A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State / Central Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with 65% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).

To get an admission to Integrated M.Tech, students have to fulfil the following criteria:

•    The candidate must have appeared for Joint Entrance Examination JEE (Main) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

•    The applicant must have taken mathematics as one of the subjects in the qualifying examination (10+2).

A detailed list of the qualifying examination is mentioned below:

•    The +2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi

•    Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/University.

•    Final Examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy.

•    Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities or any state or central government as equivalent to 10+2 system.

•     H.S.C. Vocational Examination.

•    Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) with a minimum of five subjects.

•     3 or 4-year diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education.

•    The candidate must have secured at least 60% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination (10+2).
