The remaining 30% (Category - B)of the seats are filled up by the Institute under the Management /NRI quota as per the guidelines are given by the APSCHE and the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh for this purpose.

The minimum qualification for admission to the first year of the B.Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10 + 2) conducted by the board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects shall be eligible for the course.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together
