    • Students should be passed in HSC (vocational stream) with Engineering / Technology as vocational subjects and any 1 or 2 of the related subjects like Maths, Physics, Chemistry Or
    • The candidates having any equivalent qualification approved and recognised by the State Board of Technical Education and Training / Higher Secondary Board of Tamil Nadu and Universities in Tamil Nadu are also eligible.
    • Minimum of 45% marks for OC and 40% marks for SC/ST/BC/MBC/DNC are required in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry in class XII.

    For Lateral Entry:

    • Students should be passed in 3-year Diploma courses conducted by Tamil Nadu State Board of Technical Education or equivalent recognised by the board in pre-final/ final semester of study.
    • OC candidates should score a minimum of 45% marks  and SC/ST/BC/MBC/DNC candidates should score a minimum of 40% marks in total in semesters V & VI.
