I have 94.27percentile and obc category can I get in nit Warangal

Hrisheekesh Singh 22nd Sep, 2020

Hi student,

At 94.27 percentile, your OBC category rank is around AIR 13974 - 16124.

As per the previous year cutoffs, all the branches cutoff for OBC category from home state quota closes below 8K OBC rank. So, you will not get a seat in NIT Warangal if you are from OBC category.

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 30th Oct, 2020

hi,

see cutoff score and closing rank changes in every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category, choice of stream etc. so just based on score it is really difficult to predict college, however call letters has released for bhu uet.

you may follow our article to know about stream wise closing score of previous years.

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 30th Oct, 2020

hi,

see cutoff score changes in every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category, choice of stream. now based on previous years closing rank analysis, you have less chances of selection in bhu uet agriculture group.

however I suggest you to participate till the last stage of counselling and lets see whats come around. also apply for others colleges.

sir,i secured 130 marks in bhu uet maths exam and my rank is 354obc female,i want to know is there any chance of getting admission in bhu University.

Atrayee Gayen 28th Oct, 2020

Hey aspirant,

Congratulations for scoring so well in BHU UET!

BHU is one of the well renowned Colleges that set up its cut offs really high. But your category score and rank which you have acquired are enough to get you an admission in BHU for Maths hons.

Last year's OBC cut off rank for maths hons. was 707 and cut off score was 165.

Although cut offs may vary slightly year to year but your chances of admission are quite high.

Hope this helps,

All the best!

Is there any possibility to admission in BHU UET 2020 exam in maths group when my rank is 1009 in sc category in main campus of BHU. explain briefly

Atrayee Gayen 26th Oct, 2020

Hey aspirant,

It is difficult for you to get admission in Banaras Hindu University for B.Sc maths hons., based on the SC rank you have got.

Last year's cut off by rank for B.Sc Hons. Maths for SC category was 1-521 ( opening rank-closing rank). Although  cut offs vary year to year based on - 1) number of students appearing for entrance exam, 2) number of applicants , 3) difficulty of the exam, 4) last year's cut off trends , etc. , but your chances seem to be less.

Hope this helps,

All the best!
