If you are preparing for JEE you will automatically be prepared for all other exams like WBJEE, Comedk, BITSAT, etc. The syllabus for all these exams is 98% similar to JEE. Also, the difficulty level of these exams are less than JEE. So, you can easily crack all these exams if you are studying sincerely.
For BITSAT the only extra effort you need to put is solving BITSAT Mocks. In BITSAT exam, you have to solve 130 questions in 3 hours whereas in JEE Mains you have to solve 75 questions in 3 hours. So, the most important thing in BITSAT is speed and accuracy. One month before the exam, solve one BISAT mock daily and analyze your speed, and accuracy and learn to manage your time. The level of difficulty of BITSAT is comparatively lesser than JEE Mains. If you study sincerely, you can easily crack the exam.
The syllabus for PCM is the same for BITSAT and JEE Mains. However, in BITSAT you have two extra sections- English and Logical Reasoning. You can study these using Youtube or any other platform.
English Syllabus:
Grammar
Vocabulary
Reading comprehension
Composition
Logical Reasoning:
Verbal reasoning
Non-verbal reasoning

As far as the BITS campus is concerned, BITS campus does not really matter because, in the end, you only get a degree from BITS Pilani. But as far as marks are concerned, you might get into the B.Pharm course in Hyderabad or Pilani. The cutoff for Msc courses usually starts from 240s (this was during BITSAT 2020 for the Hyderabad campus). The cutoff also varies depending on the number of aspirants giving the exam and the marks they get. The cutoffs also differ from one campus to campus. Looking at the previous year's patterns, there won't be much difference in the cutoffs(maybe a difference of 10-15 marks). But the cutoffs also decrease by spot round depending on the number of seats left.
Hello aspirant,
Congratulations on getting 251 marks in BITSAT. Based on the cutoff in last years I can give an overview on which branch and which college you might get :
BE Civil (Pilani,Hyderabad)
Your positive score depends not only on the number of questions that you solve correctly but also depends on the number of questions that you have solved incorrectly during the exam. It can happen that, you might have solved some questions incorrectly which resulted in negative marking. Your friend might not have made those silly mistakes and that is why he ended up scoring more than what you have scored.
Marking Scheme In BITSAT: 3 marks will be given for every correct answer. 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect responses and no marks will be given for unattempted questions.
As you can see, the negative marking can affect your total positive score. You should avoid this mistake in future. Only attempt the questions for which you are 100% sure. Random guessing/ Silly mistakes should be avoided at all costs.
Moderation is done after the scores are released. Moderation is done for ranks and not for marks.
TIE BREAKING RULE IN BITSAT:
All candidates who appear in BITSAT 2022 and interested in admission requires to submit Admission application form with 12th marks and preferences to different degree programs offered at Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad campuses. The authorities will prepare a merit list of such candidates on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in BITSAT 2022. If two or more candidates will obtain the same marks as per the BITSAT result then the authorities will use the following tie-breaking rule.
I hope your query is resolved.

Your choice shouldn't be affected because even if you accidentally typed the incorrect Aadhar number, the Aadhar Photo that you must have uploaded can still verify it. The aadhar Photo can be used to cross check it in the end, and the purpose of having several documents is to allow authorities to clearly confirm your identity and the validity of your documents by using a variety of documents.
Thank You
