what is the cutoff marks in bitsat 2022

Bellamkonda V S Rahul 23rd Jun, 2022
Hello Haryanth,
BITSAT is one of the most widely taken entrance exams in the country and hence it is understood that the competition is very high. The cutoff varies for the every branch and usually the cutoff for Computer Science department is around 390-420 depending on other factors like the highest score obtained by a candidate, the age of the applicant, and also the difficulty of the examination.
Computer Science is followed by other departments like Electrical, Electronics, Mechanics and Biotechnology. The cutoffs for the other departments may not be as high as Computer Science, but still high nonetheless. I hope this helps you.

Im registered for the bitsat exam 22 session 1 but im not attended to exam can i eligible to write bitsat session 2 exam

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 22nd Jun, 2022

Hi

Yes, you can definitely register for BITSAT second session and attempt it , it doesn't matter even if you have applied for 1st session and you don't appear in it. It won't affect your eligibility at all

This is because ,

It is not mandatory to attempt both the session of BITSAT, it is completely student's choice whether he or she wants to give one attempt or both the attempt, it is just that if you attempt both the session then your best of the two score will be considered for admission

i scored 290 marks in BITSAT 2022 , what are the chances of getting any of the branch in any of the campus in BITS ?

thakurvishesh1 30th Jul, 2022

With 290 you won't be getting any fancy branches or some of the most sought-after courses, but you'll definitely get something in the BITS Pilani, Hyderabad or Goa campuses. Some of the branches that you may get are:

Pilani Campus:
BE Civil
BE Chemical
B.Pharm

Goa Campus:
BE Civil
BE Chemical
BE Mechanical

Hyderabad Campus:
B.E. Electronics & Instrumentation
BE Mechanical

Hope I have answered your question. All the best!

Hello aspirant,

So with regard to your query, the exam centers preference for the application of BITSAT can only be changed during the time of application. Once the application form date is closed, then you cannot change the center. Also, after the date of admit card release, then also you cannot change them.

Hope this helps you!!

what is the syllabus for bitsat exam......is it same like mains syllabus???

Piyush kesarwani 6th Jun, 2022

hello aspirant,

Yes, syllabus of JEE Main and BITSAT is almost same . Difference in both the exam is BITSAT is speed test. Generally, questions in JEE Main is application based and questions in BITSAT is knowledge based.

Furthermore, Difficulty level of BITSAT is a bit easier than the JEE Main exam but it allows less time to students to solve each question. Hence, candidates should focus on their speed right now.

what will be considered as a safe score in BITSAT out of 390 for getting any branch (except civil chemical and manufacturing) in any of the BITS ?

riya 10th Jul, 2022

hello Aspirant,

I HOPE YOU ARE DOING WELL.

Predicting the cutoff of BITSAT is quite unpredictable as it varies every year. cutoff depends on various factors such as:

  • Number of seats available for various courses in the campuses of BITS – Pilani, Hyderabad, Goa, and Dubai

  • Number of students appearing for the exam

  • The difficulty level of BITSAT.

according to past years score cutoff for:

computer science- 336-347

Electronics & Instrumentation- 323-320

electronic and communications- 314-320

So basically if you want good branch in any of BITS then you need to score more than 290.

ALL THE BEST.
