The Central University common entrance test(CUCET) is an all India test is being organized for admission to various integrated/under- graduate,post graduate and research programmes in several Central universities and state Universities of India.CUCET has to be conducted for the admission in 54 Central Universities.

As UGC has cancelled the plan of conducting CUCET entrance exam, the admissions will now take place as per the usual practice. DU will begin its admission process from 2nd August. JNU will have its own entrance exam which will be conducted by NTA( National Testing Agency). So, you need not worry at all. Check out the admission processes of different central universities.

Depending on the university you would be applying all this depends. Although in most of the colleges in India the admission to BA courses are given through the 10+2 merits. Now if entrances are considering then its dependent on the university you are seeking admission in.
For example in DU, the Admission test for BA Humanities have the syllabus:
The Entrance test will be based on General Awareness, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Communication skills (English/ Hindi), Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability at 10+2 level

University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced that the proposed common entrance test for admission to central universities will not be held this year. The CUCET exam is not going to be conducted this year due to the ongoing pandemic. Admission process in central universities during academic session 2021-22, may continue as per past practice. The university of Delhi has announced the admission process. The DU admission to UG programmes will be based on merit. Other central universities like Aligarh Muslim University, Jamia Millia Islmia, University of Hyderabad have already started their application process and announced that they will offer admission to the students based on their own entrance test.
Dear candidate,
CUCET(Central Universities Common Entrance Test ) is conducted jointly by 14 central universities.
Eligibility criteria:-(1)For Bachelor:- The students must have secured at least 55% marks in 12 class with their main subjects as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
(2)For Masters:- The students should have secured at least 55% marks during their B.Sc. examination.

Dear candidate, this year no CUCET(Central University Common Entrance Test) will be conducted due to the prevailing Covid situation. According to UGC, CUCET will be implemented from the academic year 2022-23. Colleges like DU will admit students in UG programs on the basis of merit(score obtained in 12th boards)

The courses of Central University of Tamil Nadu are offered in undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. As per the latest information CUCET will not take place for this session due to COVID-19 situation. To conduct the admission procedure smoothly Universities are advised to begin with their own admission process as they used to do. CUCET will most probably be implemented for session 2022-2023.
