i got 50 marks in gujcet and have 87 % in 12th board than what will be my percentile

Sai Kiran K 7th Aug, 2021

Hi Aryan,

GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test) is the state level examination for Engineering and Pharmacy Programs conducted by GuJarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board.  The Eligibility criteria of GUJCET is passed in 10+2 with 45% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics as compulsory subject and Chemistry, Biology, Computer as option subjects.

The GUJCET pattern for admission process for Bachelor of Engineering programs has 40% marks of examination weightage along with 60% Weightage marks of 12th Standard. So the Rank is decided based on this 40 -60 calculation.

let us consider you GUJCET percentage is A  which is 41.6 and 12th Percentage is B which is 87

(0.4*A) + (0.6*B) - (0.4*50) + (0.6*87) = 68.84. So You overall Percentile would be 68.84% out of 100. Your rank would be around 20,000 - 23,000 According to previous year cutoff. Hope you find this calculation helpful. All the best for you career.

Thanks & Good Luck!...

What happens when I arrive at the exam center for gujcet exam without corrrcting spelling mistake in my name?

Shja 5th Aug, 2021
Dear Aspirant,

If you haven't corrected your name or you have done a spelling mistake then your result will come under the wrong name. To avoid this you should correct your name in the application form itself if there is an edit option available. If you aren't sure about how to do so then you should contact the administration office.

I hope this helps.

Rishin Halder 5th Aug, 2021

Hello aspirant,

This entrance test is administered for offering admission in various Engineering and Pharmacy courses in different institutions situated in Gujarat. The exam is not conducted for BPT course. Admission to Physiotherapy course is done on the basis of merit that is scored by the aspirant in their 10+2. Although some Institutions administer an Entrance Examination and that is University level based. This is a subjective matter and differs from Institution to Institution and they decide whether they want to administer admissions on the basis of Entrance exam or by Merit in the highest qualifying examination.

I Got 80 % Merit Of PCM In Boards . And What Marks Should I Score In GUJCET To Take Addmission In LD College .

Akanksha 4th Aug, 2021
Hii

Congratulations for your good score in class 12 boards. Now to get into LD College through GUJCET, you need to score around 110 marks out of 120 marks in GUJCET 2021. As this college is one among the top colleges, you need to score really good in GUJCET exam.

To get admission in LD College you need to score well in class 12th boards as well as in GUJCET 2021. As you didn't mention the branch you are seeking for, I assume you are talking about CSE branch as that is the most popular branch.
So the previous year's cutoff for CSE branch in LD College was around 540 rank. For this rank you need to score more than 110 marks out of 120.
For IT branch a rank below 800 will work. If you are aiming for ECE branch then the cutoff can go till 4000 rank. You can expect 90 marks or so for this.

You can use this link to know more about LD college cutoffs:
https://www.careers360.com/colleges/ld-college-of-engineering-ahmedabad/cut-off

It all depends upon your field of interest. But as of now, you focus more on your exam.

The exam is scheduled on 6 August 2021. The provisional GUJCET answer key will be released a few days after the exam is conducted. You can check your answers and predicted your marks from it.

As there is negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer, try not to get your answers wrong as your final marks may go down due to this.

  • Study all the topics thoroughly.
  • Get your fundamentals cleared before exam
  • Revise formulas to avoid confusion during exam
  • Keep yourself calm during exam

Prepare well for the exam

gujcet is compulsory for bsc nursing??

Rishin Halder 2nd Aug, 2021

Hello aspirant,

Gujarat Secondary & Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) is the conducting authority that administers the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) every year which is a state-level common entrance test. This entrance test is administered for taking admission into Engineering and Pharmacy courses in various colleges all over Gujarat. It is not required for aspirants who want to persue B.Sc in Nursing. Normally most of the colleges take admissions to B.Sc Nursing on the basis of merit according to the class 12 exam and GUJCET is not taken into consideration. Very few colleges in the State administer their own entrance exam but all Government colleges in the State offer admission to the course on the basis of merit.

Hope this helps,

All the Best!!
