Gujarat Common Entrance Test
Hello sir,
One can't really predict the accurate analysis of the marks vs rank of GUJCET 2020 because these dynamics vary a lot depending upon certain factors which are as follows:-
1-Number of candidates appearing in the examination.
2-Number of vacant seats in college.
3-Previous years cut off.
4-Difficulty level of the paper.

Hi Aspirant,
MS University (Maharaja Sayajirao University) is the public University approved by UGC (University Grant Commission). The Common entrance examination for Bachelor of Engineering program are GUJCET, JEE Mains. GUJCET is the state level entrance examination for Bachelor of Engineering in Gujarat. GUJCET Rank is based on aggregate of 12th standard marks and GUJCET marks. 50% weightage of 12th marks and 50% weightage of GUJCET marks.
As you have secured 89 marks in GUJCET and 99.91 in 12th Board. This is how the calculation works.
89/120*50 = 37 + 50 Marks of 12th = 87.
The cut of Chemical Engineering in MS University for year 2021 is 252 - 560 Rank in General category . For this rank you should secure above 100 in GUJCET, Unfortunately You will not get seat in CE in this University. You can try for other Colleges or if you are really interested about CE in this University, then drop a year and prepare well for GUJCET. All the best for admission and examination. Hope you find this information helpful.
Thanks & Good Luck!...

If he/she belongs to general category then he/she needs to score minimum 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam. Is she/he belongs to SC/ST/SEBC/EWS category then he/she needs to score minimum 40% aggregate marks.
So according to the criteria if you have passed class 12th from a school situated in Gujarat or if your parents are from Gujarat or working in Gujarat you are eligible to apply even if you do not belong to Gujarat. If you do not fulfill none of the above mentioned criteria then you are not eligible to get admission. If that is the case you cannot claim refund of the application fee or cancel the application.
Hi there,
It is tough to predict the exact scenario here. I can however provide a result based on the previous years cut off trends. The previous years cut off for CS was a GUJCET rank between 2400-7000. Usually the closing rank for CS is around 7k. With your score your percentile should be around 93. To approximate a rank is difficult as it depends on a several factors.
