Hi there!

GSEB (Gujarat Secondary and Higher Education Board) conducts the state level offline test GUJCET(Gujarat Common Entrance Test) for admission to B.E./B.Tech courses in 112 participating institutes. The syllabus for Gujarat Common Entrance Test is based on class 12 NCERT books.  in the exam are solely formed from the topics mentioned in the syllabus. It consists of 120 questions, 40 each from physics, chemistry and maths/biology. 1 mark is awarded for a correct answer and 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong answer.

NCERT is considered the mother of all the books recommended for entrance exams. So obviously you can follow ncert books for GUJCET. And you must do a lot of practice papers.

I am from CBSE. Does my GUJCET ranking affects my marks?

Pakshal Ghiya 19th Dec, 2020

No this will not affect GUJCET ranking but it will affect your overall ranking.

GUJCET score is not related to your GSEB score.

Your ACPC rank will be counted from both GUJCET and GSEB.

So definitely it will affect your ACPC merit rank but not your only GUJCET rank.

All The Best.

how much score do I have to score in gujcet and boards to enter daiict

harshitasharansrivastava Student Expert 13th Jan, 2021

Hi Dear,

DAIICT stands for Dhiru bhai Ambani Intitute of information technology. If your gujcet rank is less than 400 then you can get admission in DAIICT. To secure such a rank, you need to score around 90-95% in boards and GUJCET score should be 110+ out of 120.

All the best

Is GUJCET necessary for a B.Sc in Computer Science?

Mrinalini Sarkar 21st Nov, 2020

Hello,

No that is not a compulsory option to get admission in BSc courses. As most of the colleges give admission to BSc courses on the basis of 12th standard result and if you are qualifying the given cutoff of the respective college then you are eligible and can take admission in it. Although some colleges do prefer GUJCET cutoff so if you want to take admission in those then it is necessary to appear for the exam. IT solely depends on which college you choose.

Hope it helps.

Good luck.
