I got 64% in Gujarat board in how much score will I get admission through gujcet in engineering college?

kumardurgesh1802 17th Oct, 2024

Hello there,

To gain admission to engineering colleges in Gujarat through the GUJCET exam, your board exam percentage and GUJCET score will play significant roles. With a 64% in the Gujarat Board , your chances of admission depend on how well you perform in GUJCET, as colleges typically calculate a composite score that combines both your GUJCET score and your board percentage.

GUJCET scores usually hold around 40% weightage, while your class 12 board marks account for about 60%. This means that if you achieve a strong GUJCET score, it can significantly enhance your overall ranking. For example, targeting a GUJCET score in the range of 70-90 could improve your composite score, making you more competitive in the admissions process.

It's essential to keep in mind that popular engineering colleges often have cutoffs that vary by year and branch. Generally, these cutoffs can range from 70-80% or even higher for competitive programs. Therefore, you should not only focus on your board percentage but also strive for a good performance in GUJCET. If you belong to a reserved category, you might have a slightly lower cutoff requirement, which could also benefit your chances.

For detailed and updated information regarding specific cutoffs and admission processes, it's advisable to refer to the official website of the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) in Gujarat. They provide comprehensive guidelines and trends that can help you understand the requirements better.

Since the  MP PET was discontinued, you can appear for GUJCET if you want admission in universities of Gujrat which offer engineering courses. Also please note that JEE mains is universally approved exam for taking admissison in any engineering college across India, apart from the prestigious institutes like IIT, NIT etc.

can i get admission with 95 percentile in board+gujcet and how much fees will be disconted

kumardurgesh1802 29th Oct, 2024

Hello Harshit,

With a 95 percentile in the Board exams combined with GUJCET, you stand a good chance of getting admission to engineering colleges in Gujarat. Typically, colleges consider both the GUJCET score and your board percentage for admission.

Admission Possibility:

  • Government Colleges : A 95 percentile should generally place you well within the cutoff for government engineering colleges.

  • Private Colleges : Most private institutions will also likely accept your score, given its competitiveness.

    Fee Discounts:

  • Scholarships : If you are eligible for any scholarships (like those for SC/ST, OBC, or merit-based), you could receive a fee reduction. The exact amount varies by institution and scholarship scheme.

  • Government Schemes : Some state-run programs provide discounts on fees for students from economically weaker sections or for high achievers in examinations.

    Conclusion:

To confirm your eligibility and the specific fee structure, it's best to check with the individual colleges or their official websites for the most accurate information regarding admission and fee concessions.

hello, actually i lost my gujcet application and seat number so currently i want to download gujcet result but i couldnt because of having no application number and seat number.

Nitin Kumar 6th Jun, 2024

You won't be able to download your GUJCET result directly using the application number and seat number if you have lost them.

While applying for GUJCET, you might have received a registration number or a roll number in addition to the application number and seat number. These can sometimes be used to access the result. Check your emails or application documents to see if you have one.

Some websites allow searching for results using the candidate's name and father's name. This option might be available on the GUJCET website, but it's not guaranteed.

Admission to MSU (Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda) depends on various factors, including the specific program and department requirements. With a 65% in GSEB HSC exams , 40 marks in GUJCET , and an 87 percentile in JEE Mains , you may be considered for admission, but it is competitive. Ensure to check the specific cut-offs and eligibility criteria for your desired course, as they can vary each academic year.

how many marks in gujcet required for vetonory science

kumardurgesh1802 30th Oct, 2024

Hello there,

For admission to veterinary science courses through GUJCET in Gujarat, the required marks can vary each year depending on factors like the number of applicants, seat availability, and difficulty of the exam. Generally, competitive scores and good rankings in GUJCET and Class 12 grades increase your chances of getting into B.V.Sc. (Bachelor of Veterinary Science) programs.

Here’s a rough idea:

  1. GUJCET Marks : Aim for around 90+ percentile in GUJCET to have a strong chance. This would typically require scoring above 85-90 marks out of 120, but it varies yearly.

  2. Class 12 Grades : Since GUJCET admissions often combine Class 12 marks with GUJCET scores, scoring above 85% in the science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) in Class 12 is usually beneficial.

  3. Category-Based Cutoffs : If you belong to a reserved category, the required GUJCET score might be slightly lower than for general category students.

It's best to check the most recent cutoffs from the Gujarat Common Entrance Test Board or consult the specific veterinary colleges for exact requirements.

IN Gujcet 2024 SCORED 60 Marks, which college will get

kumardurgesh1802 30th Oct, 2024

Hello Vinod,

With a score of 60 marks in GUJCET 2024 , your chances of getting into a college may vary based on several factors, including the specific college's cutoff for various branches, the number of applicants, and your category (if applicable). However, here's a general overview of what you might expect:

Potential Colleges:

  1. Government Engineering Colleges :

    • While top-tier government colleges may have higher cutoffs, you might have a chance in some lower-ranked branches.

  2. Private Engineering Colleges :

    • Many private engineering colleges may accept students with a score around yours, especially for branches like Civil Engineering , Mechanical Engineering , or Electronics and Communication .

      Suggestions:
  • Check Previous Year Cutoffs : Look at the previous year's GUJCET cutoff marks for various colleges and branches to get a better idea of your chances.

  • Consider Management Quota : If you're open to it, many private colleges have management quota seats where admission is based on scores and additional fees.

    Conclusion:

Your score may limit your options in prestigious colleges, but you should still have opportunities in various private institutions. Make sure to participate in the counseling process and explore multiple options to increase your chances of admission.
