how much marks required of gujcet score out off 120 to get rank in under 10 in gujrat

Rahul Student Expert 14th Aug, 2020
Hello aspirant,

While calculating the gujcet rank 60% weightage is given to a 12th Board marks and 40% weightage is given to gujcet marks.
So, inorder to get a rank below 10 you should atleast score 115 in GUJCET and 95 percentile+ in your Board only then you have chances to getting a rank below 10.

How much approx marks are required in Gujcet outoff 120 to get rank under 1000?

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 13th Aug, 2020
Hello,

See it depends on lot of factors and the most important being that there is 60% of the weightage given to 12thmarks, while 40% is based on theGUJCET score and hence the merit list is prepared taking both 12th percentage and GUJCET marks into consideration. If you have 90% in boards and 110+ in GUJCET then you can expect a rank under 1000.

I hope this helps.

My intrest is purely in physics, astronomy, space science, theoretical physics. is jee mains use full for me?? Is gujcet use full for me?? which career option is helpfull??

Vinit Jawali 13th Aug, 2020

See you should apply for jee mains as it will give you great opportunities to find you a great college as per your interest in space science, astronomy through engineering fields. Scoring good in JEE will help you open vast opportunities in future.

GUJCET is basically state based exam if you dont want to move out of Gujarat then it would be beneficial to you to get seats easily in home state and if you have planned to move out of Gujarat for studies then  its upto you to give GUJCET or not.

Both the exams will help you achieve your dreams and you should do what you are interested in.

I am confused about to prepare about jee mains, gujcet or boards??

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 12th Aug, 2020

Hey!

JEE Mains is a national level entrance exam to take admission in top NITs/IITs of India. Gujcet is a state level entrance exam to get admission in top colleges of gujrat. For all these exams, you need to first clear 10+2 boards exam with the minimum aggregates which is 75% for JEE mains (relaxed this year). Boards exams consists of basic syllabus of physics chemistry and mathematics, English also(except optional subjects). And other entrance exams mainly consists of PCM but in some higher level. So, if you want to prepare for the exams, you need to prepare hand in hand. Syllabus of exams is almost same. Entrance exams consist of multiple choice questions where as board exams questions are subjective. Once you are done with a topic, try giving some extra time to it by solving some jee  questions. It is advised to study some higher level books which will not only help you in entrance exams but also to perform better in boards. Also, try to solve somev previous years problems to get to know the exam pattern, it is not particularly for JEE mains or entrance exam but you should also try solving previous papers of board exams.

Hope it helped to clear your delimma

Thank you

Can I get admission in SVNIT on Gujcet And 12th board exam???

Anurag Khanna 20th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

No, you cannot take admission on either your class 12th basis or on the basis of GUJCET performance. If you are seeking in SVNIT or in any other NIT or IIIT then you have to appear in JEE-Main and should qualify it with the good marks so that you can clear the cut-off for SVNIT, then only you are eligible for admission in SVNIT for B.Tech program. you can go through the previous year's cut-off for SVNIT to have an idea from the link given below :-
