Hi, I am a final year (8th sem) engineering student. I am applying for PGCET 2020 for M.Tech course. In the application form under education details should I leave 4th year result section empty or should I enter 7th sem results?

Hello,
If you have to fill semester wise results then you can fill from 1st semester to 7th semester and write NA in 8th semester column.
8th semester is not conducted yet but it will be conducted or use method to provide results which will take about 1-2 months.

You can apply for PGCET even if you are not a local resident and you can also apply for lateral entry.The eligibility criteria requires you to have Bachelors Degree of minimum of 3 years duration examination in BCA, B.Sc. (I.T. / Computer Science) with Mathematics at 10 + 2
