Students of other states can attempt KCET, however, in order to be eligible for the counseling process, the student needs to have completed at least 7 years of education in the state.

For getting NITs or IIITs you need to get your percentile more than 97. Below it you won't be able to get good colleges.
And your rank for 83 percentile will be near 180000, which is not good. You may expect some private college for this rank.

Your PCM aggregate is very good hence you do not need very much marks to get a rank below 7000. The final rank of kcet is calculated on the basis of you PCM aggregate and your KCET score and with a percentage of 90% you need to score above 100

You should try to score atleast above 160 marks in KCET if you want to score a rank under 1000 in KCET.

You have to work hard and you kcet marks should be greater than 150 out of 240 for top collages and also for dream. College you have selected already.
If possible make a schedule for everyday tocover entire syllabus for exam.

Both PCM and PCB candidates are eligible for KCET, however PCB students will not be able to apply for engineering courses.
