Yes other state students can also apply for the kcet, there will be some fee difference. Also during counselling you will be treated as non local and hence you need very best rank to get good college. The cutoff also varies for you and locals based on the rank you

Yes 10 % reservation quota for Economically Weeker Section is applicable only for students from general category. 

The eligibility to avil this benefit is 

1. Needs to from general category

2. Family income should be less than 8 lacks

3. Should posses less than 5 acres of agricultural land.

10 % reservation for economically weeker section is passed by President and now it is the law. 

Yes the reservation will be implemented from 1 Feb 2019. It will be implemented from the Acedmaic year 2019-2020.

As per the ruels of government of karnataka the candidates who are applying for the KCET should have past 7 years of education in the karnataka state, you can get thad documents by collecting bonafide certifictes from the school in which your son studied.

As per the government of karnataka the students must have to study in karnataka from past 7 years. Here you studies continously for 5 years ie. from 8th to 12th std, and 3 years from 1st to 3rd you are eligible for the KCET.

Hey Athithkumar,to fulfill the eligibility criteria of KCET 2019,  you should have studied and passed from a recognised institution situated in Karnataka. The academic study from a state institute should be for a minimum period of 7 years, starting from 1st standard to 2nd PUC/12th standard as on July 1
