Opting for Engineering is solely candiate's choice, these enterance exam are based on the knowledge of 11th and 12th which is totally different from engineering study, one can perform great with this rank also, therfore, if you have made you mind go ahead and work much harder then you have

For colleges you may look with branch, if you can name the branch,it will be easy to predict the colleges
