Karnataka Common Entrance Test
Hii,
With a KCET rank of 79,000, you can still explore a good number of colleges, especially in branches like Civil, Mechanical, Biotechnology, or newer colleges for CSE and ECE.
In Government Colleges getting core branches like CSE/ISE may be tough in top govt colleges at this rank, but you might get branches like:
Civil Engineering,Mechanical Engineering orAgricultural Engineering
Use the official KEA mock seat allotment results and previous year's cutoff ranks to make better decisions. Also, participate in both Round 1 and 2 counseling to increase your chances.
You can use this link to predict your college:

good afternoon. yes, KCET does release a separate rank list for architecture aspirants, but it's not based on KCET exam scores. Instead, your architecture rank is determined by your NATA score (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) and qualifying marks in 12th standard.
here's how Architecture Rank Is Calculated
50% weightage from your NATA score
50% weightage from your Class 12 (or equivalent) marks
KCET itself does not conduct a separate architecture entrance te
to Find Your Architecture Rank
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) publishes a separate rank list for B.Arch candidates on its official website: KEA Portal https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea
This list is released after NATA results are declared and verified.
Yep, KEA/KCET does publish a separate rank list for architecture aspirants, but it’s not based on your KCET score. Instead, they calculate an architecture rank using a mix of your NATA score (50%) and your Class 12 marks (50%)—nothing to do with the CET exam. That ranking is then used strictly for B.Arch admissions. So don’t expect your KCET rank to apply if you’re targeting architecture.
good afternoon ,with a KCET rank of 38,000, you still have solid chances of getting into private engineering colleges in Bangalore, especially in branches like Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Biotechnology. CSE and AIML might be tougher, but not impossible in later rounds or lesser-known colleges.
Colleges You Can Target in Bangalore
Acharya Institute of Technology ECE, ME, Civil, Biotech
Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering ME, Civil, EEE, Biotech
Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology ME, EEE, Civil, Biotech
BNM Institute of Technology ME, EEE, Civil
AMC Engineering College CSE (in later rounds), ME, Civil
Rajarajeshwari College of Engineering CSE, ECE, ME, Civil
East West Institute of Technology CSE, ECE, ME, Civil
BGS College of Engineering & Technology ME, Civil, EEE
These colleges are known to accept ranks in the 35k–45k range, especially under OBC category and in later counselling rounds
good afternoon, with 86 percentile in MHT CET and belonging to the SC category, you have a decent chance of getting admission into COEP Technological University, Pune, especially in core branches .
Here’s a snapshot of previous year closing ranks for SC category in popular B.Tech branches at COEP:
Computer Engineering 1765
Robotics & Automation (AI) 4583
Electrical Engineering 6653
Electronics & Telecommunication 799
Mechanical Engineering 2100
Civil Engineering 17298

This Means for You -Computer Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication might be competitive, but you could still make it depending on seat availability and CAP round movement.
Mechanical, Civil, Instrumentation, and Electrical Engineering are more likely to be within reach.
Keep an eye on CAP Round 1 and 2 cutoffs — they often shift slightly, especially for reserved categories.
The mock seat allotment for KCET 2025 was released on July 21, 2025. Students had time to edit their choices until July 24 (midnight) based on this mock result. The mock round helps candidates understand their possible seat placements. It is not the final allotment actual seats may vary in the final round. The final seat allotment (Round 1) will be announced in August 2025.
Hi
A KCET rank of 30,915 can still offer you a good range of options, especially under the state quota and depending on your category . While top government colleges like UVCE or RVCE may be slightly out of reach at this rank, there are still several good engineering colleges that accept ranks around this range for various branches, especially in core and emerging areas. Some of the colleges you might get into include Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, JSSATE, or Acharya Institute of Technology, in branches like Mechanical, Civil, EEE, or newer programs like AI & ML in less competitive colleges. Counseling plays a huge role here, and choice filling should be done smartly by analyzing previous year cutoff trends.

Hello Aspirant,
If you got an engineering seat through KCET 2024, and now want to take MBBS through NEET UG 2025, you will need to cancel the engineering seat at KEA before participating in MBBS counselling.
Cancellation Process: You can cancel your KCET seat either through the KEA portal, or you can visit the college to which you were allotted into and request a cancellation letter (apply for a cancellation letter).
Fine/Penalty:
Contact KEA and your current engineering college for confirmation of the exact penalty (if any) and obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) if it is necessary for the new MBBS admission.
Hello,
TMV does not officially publish past-year BPT entrance papers online. But you can find similar model/sample papers to help you prepare :
General physiotherapy entrance sample papers , such as those on Scribd covering anatomy, physiology etc.
Sample papers from other universities (e.g., Sri Sri University BPT entrance) that follow a similar pattern.
Hope it helps !
With a KCET rank of 93,503 and you belonging to the OBC 3A category, it is difficult to get admission into top colleges like RV College of Engineering, BMS College, MSRIT, or PES University for the Computer Science (CSE) course. These colleges usually close CSE admissions much earlier, often below 20,000 rank.
You may have a chance to get CSE in some private or newer engineering colleges. These colleges sometimes accept students with ranks above 90,000, especially in later rounds of counseling. You can also try for related branches like Information Science (ISE), Artificial Intelligence, or Electronics and Communication (ECE), which may have slightly higher closing ranks in some colleges.
It’s also a good idea to apply in the second or third round of counseling. Seats sometimes become available when others leave or upgrade their options. You can also check if some colleges have management quota seats where your rank may not matter as much.
For better chances, you should also keep options open for smaller or rural engineering colleges across Karnataka that still offer the CSE course.
