There are no negative marking for wrong answers in KCET examination. The Marking system is very simple , +1 marks will be awarded for correct answers and 0 marks for wrong answers. No negative marking scheme.

You can easily get a lower branch like Civil or chemical engineering with this much score in your examination from SC category. I will suggest you to join the good college with a lower branch there.

The rank is based on various paramatres like no of students applied for the examination.the difficulty level of the examination,no. of students applied for the course and the college.So,it is very difficult to predict the exact rank for this course without knowing the exact detaild.
