Hi Sneha, if you are talking about JEE Mains exam, the boards marks are not included in the rank calculation in any way. Your mains rank depends solely upon your mains performance and the marks you have obtained in the same as the sum total of all the three subjects.

For securing admission in Kerala by KEAM, you are required to pass Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50 % marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together

KEAM marks are calculated along with your board percentage. Both of them are taken in the 50:50 ratio. The KEAM marks that are out of 960 are standardised and made out of 300. Similarly your board marks(either cbse, isce or state board) are also made out of 300.
