i have 81 normalised score out of 300 in keam and 75 session percentile also 300/300 marks in my +2 exam iam a state syllabus student also a repeater will i get into any government engineering college

Swayam 14th May, 2025

Your chances of being accepted into a government engineering college in Kerala are minimal if you have a normalized KEAM score of 81 out of 300 and a 75 percentile for high-demand fields like computer science, electrical engineering, or ECE because these colleges often have considerably higher closing ranks (often under 5,000).  However, based on your final KEAM rank and category, you could have a chance in less desirable fields or at self-financing colleges.  During the counseling process, verify your real rank and compare it with the cutoffs from prior years for various institutions and branches, as admission is solely determined by the rank list that is released following the results.

i got 50 pecentile in keam and 86% in board exams how much will be my keam rank?

Samriddha Pal 9th Jun, 2025

Hello,

If you scored 50 percentile in KEAM and 86% in your board exams, your KEAM rank will be calculated by giving equal weightage (50:50) to your normalized KEAM score and your Class 12 board marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Since you scored relatively well in your board exams, this will positively impact your rank. Your rank will probably fall in the 35,000 to 45,000 range, though this is only an estimate.

Hope this helps. All the best!

I have NATA on May 31 and my result will be on June first week. Can I include that mark in my KEAM 2025 ?

Tanisha chaudhary 14th May, 2025

HEY THERE!!!

Yes, you can mention your NATA score in your KEAM 2025 application for B.Arch admission if you adhere to the official submission date of your NATA result.

As per the official KEAM prospectus and latest updates, only NATA scores obtained on or before June 30, 2025, will be taken into account for preparing the KEAM B.Architecture rank list. As your NATA exam is scheduled to be held on May 31 and your result is coming out in the first week of June, you will be getting your score well prior to the June 30 deadline.

What you have to do:

  • When you get your NATA result, enter your NATA score and upload the scorecard on the KEAM portal during the window for marks entry for B.Arch candidates.
  • Ensure that you do this prior to the date announced by CEE Kerala as the deadline.

harsh singh 12th May, 2025

With a KEAM score of 220/600 and 300/300 in PCM, your rank is likely in the range of 20,000 to 25,000.

Category and Branch: Your rank may vary based on your category (SC/ST/OBC) and the engineering branch you're aiming for.

Private Colleges: Consider private colleges in Kerala for better chances of admission.

I have passed 12th exam in 2024 and ivace 271 marks in pcm. In keam is there any chance to reduce 27 mark from my pcm

Poludasari Akhila 3rd Jul, 2025

You passed class 12 in 2024 and got 271 marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths combined. In KEAM exam, both your entrance score and your 12th marks are important. KEAM gives 50 percent weightage to the entrance marks and 50 percent to the marks you scored in PCM subjects. So, your total score will be calculated using both parts. If your KEAM entrance marks are also good, then your final rank can be decent. Even if you are short by 27 marks in board exams or if you feel low in some subject, the entrance marks can balance it a bit. But KEAM does not allow direct mark changes or reductions after submission. So, the marks you got will be final, unless there was any revaluation done by the board. With the combined score, you can still get admission into many good engineering colleges in Kerala. Based on the past cut-offs, students with similar marks have got Computer Science, Electronics or Civil in private self-financing colleges and some aided colleges too. If your rank is within top 25,000 or even 30,000, you can aim for colleges like Govt Model Engineering College, Rajagiri, or TKM. You should try the KEAM college predictor to see exact colleges that match your marks and rank. This tool is available in the Career360 app or website. It helps you know which college and branch is best for your score and category. Here is the link:

I keam engineering exam igot 300 mark out of 600 and i have exservice man special reservation. What would be my rank

Akansha Sharma 12th May, 2025

With 300 marks out of 600 in the KEAM Engineering exam and an Ex-Serviceman special reservation, your general rank may fall between 10,000 to 20,000, depending on overall performance trends. However, your special reservation will improve your chances significantly during seat allotment. You may get admission in good government or aided engineering colleges in Kerala, especially in less competitive branches. Keep checking the KEAM official rank list and counseling updates for your exact position and college options.

in keam i have 300 mark and ihave exservice man reservation what would be my rank

Akansha Sharma 11th May, 2025

With 300 marks in KEAM and an Ex-serviceman reservation, your rank will likely be better than general candidates with similar marks. While exact ranks vary each year, you can expect a rank between 10,000 to 20,000. Your reservation will help you get a better chance at government colleges, especially in branches like agriculture, fisheries, or lower-demand engineering streams. Keep checking the official KEAM rank list and counseling updates for your exact position and college options.
