rajeevanand843 14th Oct, 2020

Dear candidate

First of all heartiest congratulations for getting such good marks. As till now NEET2020 results are not declared so you don't need panic much. As every state open its refrigeration for new students once after NTA declare NEET RESULTS. you will have to regular check the sites of respective states. For Kerala you can apply on KEAM2020 in non-keralite2(NK-2) category as you are from up. Karnataka opens their registration for counseling only after NEET RESULTS declaration. You can visit kea.kar.nic.in for regular updates about Karnataka States. In Karnataka you can apply for private open for all category. Your scores are 550+ so you have quite better chances to grab a medical seat in both the state as you want. Talking about fess Kerala private colleges have somewhat less fees than Karnataka private colleges. If u talk about studies then it is south india where every colleges are par above then average and you will not be disappointed from both state Colleges.

How does the percentile changes like increase or decrease in number of Students ? And according to some sources the number of students appearing JEE Mains Sept is lower than Jan so how will this affect overall ?

ANUVAB DAS 4th Sep, 2020

Percentile means the percentage of students you have overtaken to grab the present position. The topper of a particular shift of JEE MAIN overtakes  everyone in that shift. So topper's score is considered as 100 percentile.

Rank changes with change in no. of students appearing in exam.

Rank =( 100 - percentile)* total number of student appeared/ 100.

Now, as the number of students appeared in September session is less than the January session, the rank will vary with same percentile. In this context the clear idea is, the students who appeared in September session will be benefited in terms of rank. Because the rank will be better in compare to January session with a same percentile score.

whether the option I got in first allotment for keam engineering gets cancelled if I dont get any option in second allotment?

crremyaprasad 21st Oct, 2020

Hello student,

No the option will be cancelled only if you got admission in any other colleges through allotements, but if you not pay the fee then there will be cancellation of your allotements

The prescribed fee for the Course will have to be remitted by the candidate

to the Account of the CEE in specified Post Offices in Kerala to be notified by the CEE or by way

of Online Payment, as per the time schedule prescribed. After the candidate remits the fee in

the first allotment, a fee receipt will be issued by the Post Office/can be printed from the

Online Payment page, as token of allotment and remittance of fee. Those candidates who do

not remit the fee on or before the date prescribed for the same will lose their allotment as

well as all the existing options in the stream to which the allotment belongs. The options

once lost will not be available in the subsequent phases. The second allotment will be

published on the date specified. Candidates who have not received any allotment in the first

allotment and who have received an allotment in the second allotment will have to remit the

prescribed fee for the course allotted. If a candidate has a different allotment than the one

received in the first allotment, the fee for which is higher than that remitted as per the first

allotment, he/she will have to remit the difference in fee. The amount to be remitted in this

manner will be shown in the allotment memo of the candidate. If the fee for the course allotted

in the second allotment is less than or same as the fee remitted as per the first allotment, no

further remittance is to be made by the candidate. The same process will be repeated in the

subsequent allotments.

Hope this will help

Thank you

i didnot apply for allotment in keam 2020 in due time. what can i do? i was not seriously considering to go for engineering at first so i was careless and forgot the last date. Is there another chance to fill the application form for allotment to colleges? please answer.

crremyaprasad 11th Oct, 2020
Hello student,
Iam sorry to inform you that it is impossible to participate in next levels without participating in first level of allotement,
All eligible options of the candidate will be displayed on the Option Registration Page. The
candidate may follow the directions given therein to register the options. The data entered may
be saved regularly by clicking the Save button, so that the data already entered is not lost due
to unexpected reasons. The candidate should enter only those options in which he/she is
interested. Candidates should also note that he/she will be considered for allotment only to
those courses and colleges opted by him/her. So, a candidate who has not opted for a course-
college combination will not be considered for allotment for that combination. Existing options,
registered by the candidate which is available in the Option Registration Page, can be cancelled
by clicking on the corresponding 'Delete' button. Changes (including deletions) made in the
option list must be saved (by clicking on the SAVE button) before leaving the option registration
page. All the valid options registered by the candidate will be processed. If a candidate gets
allotted to a particular seat, based on his/her option, he/she is bound to accept it, failing
which, he/she will lose that allotment as well as all the all the existing options in the stream to
which the allotment belongs. The options once lost will not be available in the subsequent
phases.Online Option Confirmation is mandatory before each phase of allotment for participating
in that particular phase of allotment. The facility for Online Option Confirmation will be
made available in the website before each phase of allotment. A candidate who does not
confirm the higher order options by clicking the Confirm button available in his/her
Option Registration Page, his/her higher order options belonging to the course(s) included
in that phase will not be available in subsequent phases also. However, his/her existing
allotment shall be retained, subject to the conditions of Clauses 11.6.2 and 11.6.3. in keam prospectous
Hope this will help

In KEAM , in round 1 i get a college im interested in,but can i wait for round 2 and round 3 without losing the college i got in round 1?...can i come back and apply for the college i got in round 1?

Varun Sood 1st Sep, 2020
Hii aspirant
Hope you're doing well
First of all congratulations for securing college of your choice in 1st round itself
It is one of the most basic doubt that creeps into mind but as you got your college now you will have to deposit the initial fee and freeze your seat else it will be alloted to someone else in second counselling
So here you can use float option in which you can get your certificates verified and fee deposit made and afterwards you can use float to find a better college for yourself
In this way you play safe
Hope this helps
