If I get alloted to a Self financing engineering college in KEAM will I be able to participate in SPOT Admission to get admission in govt/aided colleges?

crremyaprasad 28th Sep, 2020
Hlw student,
Definitely you can go for spot allotement.but the criteria for spot allotment is the candidate should participate in all the other rounds of counselling.so you should go for second allotements then third allotment then mopup And  then last spot admission.and also you should join in any of the collges you got in the first 3 allotements temporarily.otherwise you will lose  your chance in that College also .
Hope this will help to know about your Chances in different colleges  use this link https://www.careers360.com/keam-college-predictor?icn=KEAM_clgpd&ici=KEAM_exam_view_sticky

I belong to OEC category.Even if there is state reservation, there is no such option as OEC in NEET/KEAM application. Then which category should I choose in NEET application form to get my reservation?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 18th Aug, 2020

OEC is a Category that stands for Other Eligible Communities. And this is seen in the State of Kerala. These are the Communities that have been recommended to be added to the State SC and ST list. That is why they are Categorised into OEC (SC) and OEC (ST). Because this is a State level Categorisation and NEET is a National level Entrance examination, you do not see OEC in the application forms for both NEET and OEC. Because you haven't mentioned your Category, what we shall do is give you the list of Communities that have been scheduled to be listed under OEC SC or OEC ST. Accordingly please select either SC or ST in your NEET/KEAM application form. The link is: https://bcdd.kerala.gov.in/communities/oec-list/#:~:text=OEC%20(Other%20Eligible%20Communities)%20are,)%20and%20OEC%20(ST).
