It is important to get minimum of marks in between 500 to 600 to get a rank near about 3000.
Basically the rank is not fixed in any particular number because it is depends on the number of students appeared in the examination.

Firstly you should be passed in 12th exam with science.In exam you should be get minimum 19 marks in CSE ,58 marks in ME, 85 marks in EE, 37 marks in ECE ,65 marks in IT. But it should be changed.
