As far as your score is concerned , it's a very good score and rank would be under 1.5k but let me tell you that you would definitely get computer science branch but the core cse would be a tough nut to crack but specialisation branches are quite good with this score .

However various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like:-

• Number of candidates appearing in the examination.
• Number of vacant seats in college.
• Previous year cut offs.
• Difficulty level of the paper.

A candidate needs to score around 500-600 out of 800 in MET examination to fall under a safe zone. if you score more than 160 then you fall under rank of first 1000 students in their list . It also depends on which branch you opt for , you can also get admission in some branch of your choice as 120 is not a bad score . there are still chances of you getting selected at Manipal University.

It is not mandatory to attempt both the exams for phase one and phase two of MET 2022.

>> If you are not satisfied by your performance in the phase one exam, then you can apply for the phase two exam. Also if you write both the exams, phase one and phase two then the exam in which you have scored high marks will be considered as your final marks and you will be given admission on the basis of higher marks among both the exam.

>> so if you wish to apply for the phase two exam, you can do so by 31st May 2022.
