Hello I am a 12th PCB batch2021-22 student appearing for NEET 2022 I have some doubt about MHT-CET. I am giving MHT-CET(pcb). Is MHT-CET 2022 exam mendatory for the students who are preparing for NEET 2022 ? Is it mandatory for the students who are going to take addmission to MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS ?

Piyush kesarwani 31st Mar, 2022

hello aspirant,

I would like to tell you that Giving MHTCET 2022 exam is not mandatory for candidates who wish to give or appear for NEET 2022 exams. NEET exam is to get admission into medical colleges to pursue MBBS and MHT CET exam is to get admission into engineering and pharmacy courses, but not for MBBS. MHT CET is not for medical admissions .

But, yes, you have the option to give both the exams. But, I would tell you that MHTCET Exam is not mandatory for MBBS , BDS or any other medical exams.

Further, if you wish to know more about MHTCET and NEET exams then you follow the below mentioned link to know more : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/mht-cet-exam-dates

piyush singh 17th Dec, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

There will be no affect of  your two or three drops for MHT-CET(Maharashtra Common Entrance Test ) on your placement. Its you problem solving skills and your ability that count or make impact during your college placement, but make sure you have a good to justify the reason of your drop because the interview panel is most likely to ask the reason of your drops.

Hope this helps.
