Ive studied in andhra pradesh upto 10th standard. Iam studying 11th and 12 in telangana. Is there chance to get a free seat in ts eamcet

SEJAL JAIN 23rd Jun, 2025

Hello

Yes, you can still get a free (government) seat through TS EAMCET

  • Apply online for TS EAMCET & participate in counseling.

  • In seat allocation, choose government colleges and your preferred engineering branches.

  • Monitor cut-off trends for non-local candidates in your category.

  • If your rank is within the non-local cut-off, you'll likely get a free government seat.

I got 28k rank in ts EAMCET can I get cse in griet I am a bc_e (minority)girl candidate

Kishan Bhakat 22nd Jun, 2025

hi,

28,000 rank in TS EAMCET and as a BC-E (minority) girl candidate, getting a CSE seat in GRIET is difficult because the closing ranks for CSE in GRIET usually go much lower. For BC-E category, the CSE closing rank is mostly around 12,000 to 15,000. Your rank is higher than the usual cutoff, so the chance is low for CSE in GRIET. You can still try in counselling

hi i got 20k in ts eamcet in 2025 and im from sc category do i get btech cse in jntu kukatpally or do i get cse btech mtech dual degree???? and which is best

gopi 14th Jun, 2025

Hello Vamsi Krishna,

With a TS EAMCET rank of 20,000 in SC category, the chances of getting B.Tech CSE (either regular or dual degree) in JNTU Hyderabad (Kukatpally) is moderate to good depending on the cut-off trend and other reservation quota. In any case, if you don't get the regular B.Tech CSE, there is good chance that you will get the B.Tech + M.Tech Integrated Dual Degree (IDP) in CSE.

When it comes to better option:

  • Regular B.Tech CSE: More options to either go into higher studies (MBA, MS abroad, even M.Tech) after and have the opportunity to get higher qualification. You can also go out to get a job too.
  • Dual Degree CSE ( B.Tech + M.Tech): saves a year but limits you to only M.Tech at JNTU., no flexibility to change.

If your goal is to work after completing your 4 years of studies or looking to go to higher studies abroad, then the best option is a regular B.Tech CSE as the possibilities are open to you. However, if you are sure, intend to pursue the M.Tech, and want to maintain that continuity, then dual degree is the better option.

Is kendriya vidyalaya considered as a government junior college,to get full fee reimbursement under TS EAMCET (I meet income criteria and belong to BC caste and got rank of 13k)

Shubham Jha 13th Jun, 2025

Dear student,

Yes, Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) is considered a government institution under the central government, managed by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (Ministry of Education). Since KVs offer education up to 12th standard and are recognized by CBSE as well as accepted by state authorities, completing your 10+2 from a KV is valid for fee reimbursement under TS EAMCET , provided you also meet the income criteria and belong to an eligible category (like BC, SC, or ST).

So, if you studied in KV, belong to the BC category, meet the income limit, and have a TS EAMCET rank around 13,000, you should be eligible for full fee reimbursement .

If I am a EWS canditate and i got 43000 in ts eamcet then which college I will get in government btech colleges

Pavana Sree E 11th Jun, 2025

Hi Aspirant,

With a rank of 43000 in TS EAMCET being in EWS category you might have a chance to get a seat in one of these Government Engineering Colleges in branches like Civil, EEE :

• JNTUH college of Engineering , Hyderabad (Govt) : Civil closing rank is 63,885

• KITS , Warangal (Govt) : Civil cutoff 62,250

For core branches like CSE / ECE this rank is not sufficient.

Use TS EAMCET EWS Category details and college predictors to finalize.
