if caste lies under OBC but for apply application of TS EAMCET the are showing onlyBCA, BBC, BCC, BCDandBCE then what should I select form the above category

sadafreen356 21st Mar, 2025

If your caste lies under OBC but the TS EAMCET application is only showing BCA, BCB, BCC, BCD, and BCE categories, you should select the category that corresponds to your specific OBC caste.

In Telangana, OBC castes are classified into several sub-categories, denoted by the letters BCA, BCB, BCC, BCD, and BCE. You'll need to identify which of these sub-categories your caste falls under.

To determine the correct category, refer to the official list of OBC castes in Telangana, which can be found on the TS EAMCET website or the Telangana government's website. Match your caste with the corresponding sub-category, and select that option in the application form.

If you're still unsure, you can:

- Contact the TS EAMCET helpline or support team for guidance.

- Visit the nearest TS EAMCET help center or counseling center for assistance.

- Consult with a local authority or a person familiar with the OBC caste classification in Telangana.

Hello Im a 12th passed student from odisha but my parents have a resident certificate in ap and I got 50% in 12th if I give ts eamcet can I get good rank and some college in Hyderabad for engineering please clarify it

Mitali Sharma 23rd Feb, 2025

Hello

Eligibility for TS EAMCET :

Since you are from Odisha but your parents have a residence certificate in Andhra Pradesh , you may not qualify as a local candidate for Telangana state colleges under TS EAMCET . However, you can still appear for TS EAMCET as a non-local candidate.

Minimum Qualification Requirement : Most engineering colleges require a minimum of 45% marks in 12th (for the general category) and 40% (for reserved categories). Since you scored 50% you meet the minimum requirement.

Getting a Good Rank : Your rank in TS EAMCET depends on your performance in the exam. A good score can help you get into some private engineering colleges in Hyderabad but government colleges have a high cutoff for non-local candidates.

Alternative Options you can also consider applying through the management quota in private colleges if you don’t qualify for government seats.

Hope this gives you the clarity you need.

  • Search for emails from the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) or any other relevant authorities.

2. Visit the TSCHE Website:

  • Go to the official website of the TSCHE.

  • You might be able to retrieve your allotment order through the website's portal or by contacting their helpdesk.

3. Contact the Helpdesk:

  • Explain your situation and request a duplicate copy of your allotment order.
  • Provide any necessary information, such as your application number, hall ticket number, or any other relevant details.

4. Visit the College Directly:

  • They may be able to provide you with a copy or guide you on how to obtain one.

Additional Tips:

  • Keep a Digital Copy: It's always a good practice to keep a digital copy of important documents like allotment orders.
  • Check with Your College: If you have already joined the college, you can check with your college administration for any records or copies of your allotment order.

My daughter is completing her 10th grade this year under CBSE curriculum, and we are now in the process of planning her next steps for intermediate studies. we are particular focused on selecting the best junior/intermidate college that will prepare her well for the TS EAMCET, Given this goal, Im trying to determine which curriculum CBSE or the State Board - would be more advantageous for her EAMCET prepration. Any insights on which syllabus align better with the TS EAMCET requirements would be greately appreciated.

sadafreen356 26th Oct, 2024

For EAMCET preparation, the State Board curriculum is generally considered more advantageous compared to the CBSE curriculum because it provides a more structured and challenging syllabus, better aligning with the competitive nature of entrance exams like EAMCET, it has extra topics which is useful in eamcet emphasizing conceptual understanding rather than rote learning, and offering wider recognition across different states and institutions.

If your daughter chooses state board it helps her in cracking tough exam like eamcet, CBSE curriculum is good for JEE, NEET GATE etc but this a state exam so the exam is state oriented.

I got 39k rank in ts eamcet 2024 and my category was BCD can i get seat in pharm D and my income certificate was 1lakh 40 thousand

monag2673 25th Oct, 2024

With a rank of 39,000 in TS EAMCET 2024 and belonging to the BCD category, your chances of securing a seat in the Pharm D program will depend on several factors, including the availability of seats, the specific college’s admission criteria, and the competition within your category.

Pharm D programs are increasingly popular, and admission can be competitive. Typically, colleges may have a certain number of seats reserved for different categories, including BCD. Your rank may allow you to get a seat, but it ultimately depends on the cutoff ranks for Pharm D in previous years and the demand for that course.

Regarding your income certificate showing an annual income of 1.4 lakhs, it falls under the limit for OBC reservation benefits in many institutions. This can help you in securing a seat in a government or aided college where the fees are lower for eligible candidates.

To enhance your chances, consider applying to multiple colleges and keep an eye on the counseling process. Check the official TS EAMCET website for updates on seat allotment and college-specific cutoffs. Stay proactive in following up on your admission status and be prepared with the necessary documents for the counseling process.
