If you have filled up OBC, that is not a problem. You get chances to correct the form after it's submission. The form is released again in case you have submitted something wrong. Then you can change your category. If this doesn't happen, you will anyways be required to present yourself with a caste certificate and if you fail to do so, you will automatically be considered in the general category. • Name of the entrance test
• Rank(CRL)
• Marks obtained
• College alloted(full name,state,city)

After getting all the details,it will be easy to understand the situation.

So,if this is the issue,that you are qualified  for the counselling then how can this type of msg is forwarded to you.

Even your upsee rank in obc category is really very low and so its difficult to get good collegy with branch as Computer Science , so you must try other colleges like SRMS or any other where you can have CSE as you are interested into that. Other than that college like PSIT may give you admission but choice of branch is not sure.

The document verification has always been an online process. You are required to upload scanned images of the documents listed below, the documents will be verified and you will be moved further in the process:-

• UPSEE Admit Card 2019
• UPSEE Rank Card 2019
• Class 10th and 12th Certificate & marksheet
• Rural weightage certificate (if applicable)
• Domicile certificate
• Domicile certificate of his/ her parents (Father OR Mother) if the candidate has passed qualifying examination from outside of U.P
• Character certificate
• Certificate of Medical Fitness/ Undertaking of Medical Fitness
• Category certificate for OBC/SC/ST (if applicable)
• Subcategory certificate for Freedom fighters/Armed forces/ Physically handicapped as applicable
• Income certificate for economically weak candidates

See here is the thing with UPSEE Lateral Entry, it is intended to admit meritorious diploma engineering students directly in the second-year degree engineering course. Admissions to any of the participating institutions will be subjected to qualifying UPSEE lateral entry 2019 exam and availability of seats. Students of diploma engineering who have completed their course or are appearing in their final year exam were eligible to appear in the UPSEE lateral entry 2019. Admission will be offered to all the UPSEE lateral entry 2019 qualified candidates in the order of merit. 

And there is no record of the count of the applicants not even of those who have cleared the lateral test as it is not like jee main thing that your admission relies on it. Students applying are already doing their diploma or whatever so they either make the cut or not. They still continue their thing.

So be hopeful.

I am sorry to tell you that with a rank of 6280, you will not be able to get any government college through lateral entry by UPSEE. You might be eligible for private colleges like Ajay Kumar Garg, Galgotias if you want. I hope this information was helpful!

Arya uploading Diploma degree should not create problem if it is from a verified institute because diploma degree is equal to graduation.May be it will take sometime but do not worry or you may contact to helpline number if it takes a long time.Diploma also gives student to take admission in 2nd year of Btech or BE college.So don't worry.I hope it helped
