Yes,of course you will get Admission in government collegs like NITS .If the candicate belongs to general category you may get in government colleges but not in good branches. If the candicate belongs to any Sc/st/Obc category then they will get good Nit colleges in good branches.

As your rank is good enough to get BMS college through KCET.But there are the less chances to get CSE in the same college as maximum rank required by the college is 4000.so with this rank there are minor chances to get this branch. You can apply for

Last year cutoff rank of academy of technology cse was
about 18k .
So getting cse there with 54k rank considering you as a general candidate is not possible.
