You can judge a college whether it's good first by looking whether it's in North Campus or South campus. North Campus colleges are seen as the best with highest cutoff and standard of faculty, etc. In South campus you can judge by looking at the highest cutoff colleges.

It actually depends on what stream you want to take,If you want to take CSE ,then there is no chance of getting  in any category.Since the seats get over by 15k-20k rank for cse.

However you will be eligible for ECE,EEE,Civil and mechanical in the 2nd or 3rd

You can easily get the seat at this college if you belong to home state quota of this college otherwise you will get lower branches like civil and chemical engineering there. I hope you have got the point. Just take the right decision while checking the right branch
