According to the eligibility criteria, General category candidates need to score 60% in individual subjects (P+C+M/B) and unreserved category need 50% in the same. In case of your son, he got a pretty decent rank but sadly doesn't satisfy the eligibility criteria, so he won't be able to get admission

if you are a general category student it is quite difficult for you to get admission in Delhi University. The minimum percentage required in Delhi University for bcom is around 88 %. Your percentage is quite low and so your chances to get in du are also less.
if you are a general category student then you cannot take admission in Delhi University with this percentage. The minimum percentage required is atleast 90% and your marks are quite low compared to it So your chances are quite less.
