Vivek Kumar 25th Feb, 2026

Dear Student,

If you want to appear only for NEET-UG for MBBS admission, then you do not need to take the KCET exam. However, you can fill in the exam centre preference in the form as a future option. MBBS admission is done on the basis of the NEET score.

While filling the NEET UG application form, I verified my Aadhaar. However, at the last step, my form filling process stopped because my recent photo did not match with the Aadhaar photo. Due to this, I applied for Aadhaar biometric update. After the Aadhaar biometric update is completed and the photo is changed, will this updated photo automatically be updated on the NTA website?

Manasvini Gupta 26th Feb, 2026

There is a chance that the updated Aadhaar photo will not automatically update on the NTA website. Even after your Aadhaar biometric update is completed, you will need to log in again to the NEET UG application portal and verify or re-submit your details as per the instructions given there.
