In the jee application form,in the identity details section i gave my old adhaar card,the details are the same but photo is of my younger version, unfortunately i am not able to change it, i have also updated adhaar and not yet clicked on final submission but but will my form get rehected???

Hello,

No, your form will not get rejected because of this.

If the Aadhaar number and personal details match , the photo on your old Aadhaar is not a problem . Many students use Aadhaar with an old photo, and NTA accepts it as long as the details are correct.

Yes, you can edit the OBC authority designation in the JEE Main 2026 form during the correction window.

To do it:

Wait for the correction window to open.
Log in to the JEE Main portal at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

I updated my name in Aadhar after filling the jee application, the aadhar is updated before submitting the application,so does the updated details will be verified with application name or not,as its showing name not verified still in the application application

i have wrongly entered annual income during my correction window of ugc net application but i come under OBC NCL category and also have category certificate claiming it..If incase i get clear and will it be a problem during verification?

If you have entered the wrong annual income but belong to the OBC NCL category and have a valid certificate, it should not cause a problem during verification, as long as your certificate supports your category and income criteria.

No, it’s not compulsory to fill the APAAR ID in the JEE Main application form right now.

If your APAAR ID shows a “credential mismatch” error even after entering the correct number, don’t worry, you can simply leave it blank and continue filling the form.
