Yes  now, you need to choose code 3 as you have passed from karnataka board

This is because,

Karnataka board i. e The Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka offers Puc

And,

code 3 says it is for those passed their   intermediate   / pre- degree examination i. e pre university

There's nothing to worry if your application gets rejected by one college in DU.  As soon as you get the email for rejection visit your dashboard and re-apply for the college and course you want to get admission in.

You should visit the official website first and check out your application status by using the user id and password, as most of the colleges have the status check through their undergraduate admission website and you might had got some login credentials for checking that so,  using that credentials
