Hostel rooms in amrita are good. Separate hostels are available for boys and girls. 4 persons can occupy a room. Each room has separate bathrooms. But the problem is you have to clean the rooms and bathrooms. There is no room keeping. If you can manage with it

DNB from a reputed institute is better than having MD from a mediocre college. In PG, the patient exposure , clinical scenarios, hands on experience, good guides are important factors. A good college provides all this. And according to MCI regulations, for jobs DNB and MD shall be treated equally

As you're standing in the boundary, you may keep BITS as a option in your hand. But it'll be better if you apply in other colleges too. You can also apply to Chemical Engineering in BITS Pilani, Goa and Hydrabad campus.
