Sir/Mam I got 433 marks in NEET 2020 and my AIR is 149362 EWS category rank is 17575 will I get any college through AIQ counselling should I apply for AIQ or wait for state counselling

Swetha N 23rd Oct, 2020

Hello dear,

For all india rank around 1.4 lakhs and general category(even if you have EWS) y ou cannot expect a seat through all india quota as the cut off will be higher for the colleges under all india quota.Only with marks above 550 we can expect a seat through all india quota.

But there is nothing wrong in applying for all india quota, you can apply.

You should apply for state quota as the cut offs will be little lesser compared to all india quota and chances of getting a seat through state quota will be higher.

As you did not mentioned the state you belong to it os difficult to predict.

For your rank especially this year, it is difficult to secure a seat even through state quota. But in states like karnataka you have few chances.

you can use our neet ug college predictor link attached below to get a list of possible colleges you have chances of admission https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Hope you found this helpful.

I want to apply for pharmacy course through my neet score, what is the process? how it is done? how neet counselling is done?

Naija Bansal 25th Oct, 2020

Hi there,

To get admission into the Pharmacy course, students have to complete their 10+2 education & apply for national level or state level Pharmacy entrance exam . ... Few Institutions offer direct admission into the Pharmacy programme without appearing in an entrance test on the basis of the 12th marks.

NEET Marks are not compulsory/required for admission in pharmacy courses therefore you can approach a college you desire and look if it has its own entrance exam or not/ if not then you can directly apply on basis of your 10+2.

Hope that helped...

Good Luck !!

I had given upsee 2020 and i was excepted in cept in merit list but i havent passed maths I have been allotted a college in architecture will my maths marks be a problem at the time of physical reporting as i was even eligible for counselling and my document verification was also clear.help....

Shrishty sahu 2nd Dec, 2020
Dear student,
The eligibility for upsee cept is that you should have passed 10+2 with maths and physics as compulsory subjects in science stream or any other equivalent stream. Also you should score 50% in 10+2. But if you did not face any problem in document verification then i think there might be no problem.

Hi Aspirant!

To apply for the colleges with NEET counseling you have to wait till 27 October as its registration is starting from 27 October. In registration form you have to fill the details and pay the registration fees. After that you have to fill the choices according to your rank and college you want to study. And you will get the seat if your marks is good enough.

I hope it helps.

How to apply for other course except MBBS and BDS. like for physiotherapy and pharmacy and other such courses in neet counselling?

Naija Bansal 23rd Oct, 2020

Hi there,

For physiotherapy and pharmacy, the eligibility is as follows:

  • In order to apply for these programmes, you will have to pass your 10+2 with at least 50% marks with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the compulsory subjects.
  • You must have qualified the NEET exam as some colleges consider it as entrance test. You must have at least scored 300 marks as for 2020 admissions.

Some colleges take admissions without entrance exam marks while some have their own entrance exams for admitting to such courses.

For applying to these courses, first select the colleges in which you wish to take these courses in and then apply individually by going to their respective websites.

NEET counselling is only for MBBS/BDS courses but NEET scores are considered for admissions in BAMS/BHMS/BPT etc such courses.

Hope this helped...

Good Luck !!

How to apply for physiotherapy course in neet counselling?

rachanapbennur 24th Oct, 2020

Hello!

NEET counselling is done for MBBS and BDS courses by MCC. Whereas for courses like B.A.M.S, BHMS, B.U.M.S, BSMS candidates need to register under Ayush NEET counselling. For other paramedical courses you have to apply directly through respective college admission portal. This is because for phyiotherapy courses like Bachelor of physiotherapy, NEET is not mandatory. It depends on institutions. Some institutes admit through both NEET and boards exam whereas others consider just boards marks.

Here are the list of colleges for physiotherapy:

If I skip the counseling and go for next round of counselling in TNEA tentative allotment , should I have to pay again?

fazilatfatima728 3rd Nov, 2020

No .

The amount paid once is for both the rounds of counselling and you can avail it in next round too

Just make sure to be ready with all the certificates listed for the certificate verification as failing to even one certificate will cancel your allotment and may cause further inconvenience.

All the best

I got eligibility in verification in kcet but my both parents name has spelling mistakes in application form does it cause any problem during counselling and going college and Im participating in neet counselling under85%quota not in kcet counselling

prince2019ad 23rd Oct, 2020

Hiii..

Hope you are doing good.

To be specific, yes, a name mistake is going to cost you a lot.

I dont know specifically the mistake you did, but let me just give an example for myself.

My father's middle name is " SANKARA" and I mistakenly wrote it "SANKAR" in the online application.

This has costed me a lot of time during the counselling procedure.

Dont do the same mistake.

Always check and recheck the name.

Dont even write the abbreviation of your or your parents' name.. always write the full name.

But as you had already done the mistake,

You will have to write an email to the concerning authorities. They may not respond to only one, so write 4-5 mails till they reply.

This is a serious issue, dont take this lightly.

Hope I helped.

I am a delhi domicile candidate. Can I apply for karnataka state mop up round counselling in neet ug 2020 or in any other state mop up round being a non domicile for those states?

myidshivanisrivastava 2nd Dec, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

Yes, you can apply for Mop-Up round of counselling, even you are a non-domicile of that particular state.

However, the limitation are that you can only apply for private colleges, and not for Government colleges,

You can register on the State Government website and then you can participate in the mop-up round.

Hope this information helps you. Feel free to ask more questions.

Have a good day!!
