Hi there,

The NLU Consortium will invite candidates FIVE times the number of available seats in each category. Note that candidates who haven't received an invitation won't be able to register for counselling.

Candidates who have not received invite for the counselling process in the first round may be called during subsequent rounds, in case of vacancies, if any, arises in that particular category.

Here is the procedure for counselling process:

  1. Step 1 - NLU preference updation

  2. Step 2 - Payment of counselling fee

  3. Step 3 - Exit from CLAT admission process

If you do not exercise any of the options above, i.e., (a), (b) or (c) within the specified time you will be considered not interested in the admission process and your candidature will not be considered for admission. You will lose your current allotted seat and your name will be removed from the counselling process and will not be considered in the subsequent lists.

Please see here the complete procedure here: https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/documents/Final-admission-counselling-instructions-CLAT-2020-October-5-2020.pdf

Also check here for more guidelines about the same: https://law.careers360.com/articles/clat-counselling

Hope this helps...

Good Luck !!

Hello,
As per cutoffs of last few years, i cannot see chances of getting NITs with this rank, your rank is quite high. And for IIITs and GFTIs too i cannot see chances. You can refer last years cutoff.

I will suggest you to go for other state counselings like M.P, MHT-CET, Odisha, Punjab, etc and get into Computer Science. You can also use college predictor tool to get the predictions based on your in other state counselings.

Hello,

Hope you are doing well.

According to your rank there seems less chances of yours to get a seat in IIIT's ,NIT's or GFIT's.The rank you obtained does not comes under the closing rank required to get a seat when compared with previous year closing rank. You can also visit the link below to see previous year closing rank of different IIIT's,NIT's and GFIT's:

What should be the order of colleges for choice filling in MP DTE counselling among sgsits, davv, ujjain, jabalpur, rgpv bhopal and samrat ashok vidisha.?? And please tell the branches order also along with the colleges??

Abhishek Singh Tomar 15th Nov, 2020

As you have not given your marks or rank but then also  for the colleges options you have given here according to that if considering for college then you should place first SGSITS,DAVV,JABALPUR ENGINEERING COLLEGE,UJJAIN,SAMRAT ASHOK VIDISHA,RGPV bhopal. It is placed in the order of government colleges to private colleges. And about branch then it depends on you which branch you have interest and you have not anything fixed then you can place main core streams and CSE/IT at top of colleges preference like given above.

Koustav Dey 15th Nov, 2020

KEA (Karnataka Exam Authority) conducts the counselling procedure on 85% seats for local student (Karnataka state student) and remaining 15% seats for AIQ(All India Quota) students.

Since, You are not Karnataka domicile so to participate in Karnataka Ayush counselling you need to apply for All India Quota(AIQ).

I got 38k rank in ews category in jee mains 2020.May I eligible to participate in josaa counselling?I got 73.9 percentile in jee mains.I have qualified to write jee advanced. But l dont qualify in jee advanced. What can i do?

sheemaashraf123 10th Dec, 2021
It depends upon the JEE Main and JEE Advance cut offs, If You manage to qualify the exam by achieving the cut off, You can apply for JOSAA Counselling. It should be noted the cut off for EWS/SC/ST/FEMALES/OBC category is lower than the general category

If you manage to qualify JEE Main Cutoff, You would be eligible for JEE Advance which is the intake exam for IITs as mentioned above.

However It is usually advised to fill the choices as per the preference of colleges and departments, for example CSE in NIT Trichy is your priority followed by CSE in NIT Warangal, you can fill CSE at NIT Trichy at serial number 1 and CSE at NIT Warangal at serial number 2 and so on and so forth. However to get any NIT, you must have qualified JEE Mains and to get any IIT, you must have qualifies JEE Advanced

But the previous cut offs of colleges should be taken in consideration, it is better to research over the cut off of colleges then make a preference list of colleges and fill accordingly

For the college preferences and the courses provided by these colleges and to know which colleges participate in the JOSAA counselling, please go to the below mentioned link: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/josaa-participating-institutes/amp

Can we apply the counselling for both need mains paper 1 and paper 2

Ayush 9th Nov, 2020

Hi Candidate,

The counselling for JEE MAINS examination is done through JoSAA counseling process, which involves numerous rounds of seat allotment and selection procedure. JEE Mains is held twice a year from 2019, and the Candidates can appear in both the attempts in the same year.

Talking about the results from both attempts, the Best of  of Two Results, is taken in consideration for selection and counselling process. Hence, you can't apply for both the papers but only the Better of the two is taken in consideration for admission.

Hope that this answer helps you.
