KCET 2020 counselling will be conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) as usual but with little delay in October. This year the complete KCET 2020 counselling is to be conducted in online mode due to COVID-19 pandemic. The competent authorities will be conducting two rounds of counselling and one round of extended KCET counselling 2020.

Note that the students will be allowed to attend the counselling of KCET 2020 from their respective districts and do not have to visit Bengaluru for the same and this initiative has been taken in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic.

As per your query, the aspirants who are having less than the cut off marks will have less chances in GGSIPU counselling.

IPU 2020 for B.Tech will not be conducted so the admissions will be based on the JEE Mains cut off only.

Yes, there are many Govt. colleges which take admission on the basis of your JEE Mains score , and also they are not included in JOSAA counselling . For those you can try state level counselling in states like Haryana, Punjab, MP ,Uttarakhand , Odisha etc .You will definitely get some govt. college there.

These states have their own counselling authority. For example In Haryana the counselling is done by HSTES (Haryana State Technical Education Society ) . You can apply to these counsellings . The process is same like JOSAA counselling like as to fill your choices , lock them etc.

So you can check the counselling dates and other information on the respective state counselling portal .

Yes, there is a college named BIT Sindri, Dhanbad Jharkhand which takes admission on the basis of jee mains rank and It is not included in Josaa counselling. Admission to it is done by JCECEB board by preparing state merit list. For admission to this college you must have local resident certificate of Jharkhand state. It is true that last year, IPU had reopened its registration window. But this year it is unknown. From this year, seats of IPU will be filled through All India Counselling and like last year, IPU might open its registration window. There has been no official information regarding this. So please watch out for official information regarding this.

With a score of 552, your rank might be approximately between 19,000-22,000. This is an expected rank range: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank .With this score ideally, CMC Vellore should be a possibility. Once NEET results have been declared, CMC Vellore might publish its merit list based on the Registrations that it has received and the marks secured by each Candidate. But the counselling process is done by the State Authorities and CMC will not conduct admission on its own. CMC doesnt participate in All India Counselling and so while filling hte choices for State Registration, you should opt for CMC, Vellore.

Basically it is not possible after successful registration of jee main. During counseling if you allotted a seat then you have to report at any nearest NITs /IITs for conformation of seat .At this stage if you unable to generate valid OBC or SC/ST certificate then you will automatically change to General category for further round.
