BITSAT is an online entrance exam for admission to various campuses of BITS. It is scheduled to be conducted between 16h-25th May. The results/cutoff are expected to be declared by 20th June.

After the result are out, candidates who clear the cutoff will be required to register for BITSAT Counselling. After registering they have to fill personal details, individual marks scored in subjects during class 12th Board Exam, fill the branch and campus preference, filling marks secured in BITSAT and payment of counselling fees.

Seats are alloted in several rounds according to marks scored in BITSAT. After you are alloted the seat you can lock it by making the payment of seat.

Following documents are required for VITEE counselling-

• VITEEE-2020 e-Admit Card, Counselling Admit card and VITEEE Result copy
• Class X Board Certificate as a proof of date of birth or any other age proof Certificate
• Mark sheet of Qualifying Examination (If available)
• Class XII Hall ticket (For candidates awaiting results)
• Community Certificate (For SC/ST candidates only)
• Nativity Certificate (For candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura).
• Demand draft for Rs 50,000/- drawn in favour of 'Vellore Institute of Technology', payable at Vellore.
• Demand draft for Rs 21,000/- drawn in favour of 'Vellore Institute of Technology', payable at Vellore, for Hostel

To attend the counselling, you must write VITEEE exam and get a rank below 20k and wait for the provisional call letter from the college. Once you get the provisional call letter in your mail( in the second week of may), attend the counselling process at the mentioned counselling venue and then select the stream you want and finalize by making the initial payment in the form of a DD.

For SRMJEEE counselling, the required documents are your original counselling call letter, Hall ticket of SRMJEEE, SRMJEEE rank card, Marks sheet of class 10+2 or equivalent exam, Marks sheet of class 10 as date of birth proof, Aadhaar Card.

After the SRMJEEE exam and declaring the results, you will receive a counselling call letter based on your SRMJEEE rank, the counselling date will be alotted to you and if you wish to join you must attend the offline counselling process in the main branch of SRM in Chennai.
